Product Description
RT-596 is a room-temperature-curing elastomer that cures through a moisture-activated reaction with air.
Its curing time is not affected by temperature, humidity, or sealant thickness.
The product offers excellent vibration resistance, corrosion resistance, low volatility, low odor, and minimal shrinkage during curing.
It is a single-component sealant with high elasticity, outstanding aging resistance, oxidation resistance, and heat resistance up to 310 °C.
RT-596 features a wide application range and provides reliable waterproofing and moisture resistance.
Application Scope

Suitable for sealing micro-gaps and flat surfaces; mainly used in electrical, wear-resistant pipelines, electronics, automotive, and construction industries for high-temperature and sealing applications

Suitable for maintenance and repair of heated components such as engine cylinders, ovens, boilers, exhaust pipes, ducts, and heaters
Instructions for Use
- For best performance, ensure the substrate surface is clean and free of oil or grease.
- Parts should be assembled within 5 minutes after application, as the sealant begins curing once exposed to air.
- Secure the assembled components to prevent movement during curing.
- Excess uncured sealant may be removed using a neutral solvent.
- Excess cured sealant may be removed with a blade or utility knife.

Not suitable for use in oxygen-enriched or oxygen-deficient environments, and must not be used as a gas or fuel sealing material.

Store in a cool place out of reach of children.

Use the product as soon as possible after opening.

Avoid contact with eyes before curing. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical attention if necessary.
